    PRESIDENT, CEO, & FOUNDER

    I incorporated Proxy Retail Group in 2012. Expecting to change the perception of women as leaders in the construction industry, I was faced with many challenges and preconceptions. Through firsthand knowledge as an installer, field manager and now presiding over a company I built from the ground up, I have earned the respect of industry executives and professionals.

    Providing best in class service in both management and overall quality, manufacturers are turning to Proxy Retail Group as their primary in-store resource for national installations and expert project management.

    Almost 20 years ago I entered retail fixture installations and became a top installer. While spending nearly 10 years as a field installer, I became trusted with high-profile and prototype installations. I made many relationships in the industry working for companies that are now our competitors. I saw how badly not just installers, but customers alike are treated by installation companies.

    Years later, Anne asked if I wanted to work for her new company with a new way of doing things. I sought to bring respect and dignity back to the installer tradecraft. I wanted to exceed client expectations and give them the proper service they deserve. We have fast become one of the industry’s go-to companies.

    I learned early on that I love physical work and seeing a job through to completion. I love to travel even more than physical work. Combining those two loves, I found the retail fixture installation business and was nearly raised in this industry.

    I started as an associate sweeping floors in a distribution warehouse. From there I worked my way up traveling all over the country as a lead installer. I then spent the next fifteen years as an Operations supervisor running installation companies around the US. I was eager to help change what I perceived as wrong with this industry when Matt invited me to come to work for Proxy. Having worked for several of our direct competitors over the years, my experience with Proxy has been more satisfying than working with any of those other companies.

    Proxy Retail truly works on the behalf of our clients by providing quality care from beginning to end, providing consistent leadership and responsibility where so many others seem to lack the same.

    With over 30 years in the sales realm, I have dedicated my career to excelling in direct sales, sales management, and channel strategy. Central to my philosophy is a deep-rooted belief: true success in sales comes from helping others. This principle has guided me through various roles, both nationally and, on a smaller scale, internationally. My experience spans a range of sales positions, allowing me to develop a nuanced understanding of the sales landscape. In my current role, I focus not just on growing our company, but also on being an example of honesty and integrity in our industry. Upholding these values is crucial to sustainable business and fostering lasting customer relationships, mimicking the core values of “The Proxy Way”.

    As a leader, I prioritize strong mentorship, aiming to lead by example. I cultivate an environment where ethical practices are paramount, emphasizing the importance of trust and respect in sales relationships.

    My overarching goal is to create win/win scenarios, aligning company success with customer satisfaction and team development. As I continue in the retail industry, my commitment to advancing our company's mission with the highest ethical standards remains unwavering.

    For the past three decades, I have been deeply immersed in the world of retail, with a particular focus on retail installation. Over the years, I have taken on a variety of roles, from hands-on installer to supervisor, trainer, and manager of third-party installation teams. Currently, I serve as the Director of Account Management, a position that allows me to leverage the invaluable insights I've gained through these diverse experiences. I understand what strategies work effectively and what potential pitfalls to anticipate, enabling me to proactively plan and address challenges within my team.

    For more than 25 years, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with a myriad of clients, transforming their visions into reality. Leveraging my expertise in both experiential marketing and retail installations, I’ve maintained a focus on delivering meaningful connections between brands and consumers, driving tangible results. Having worked in numerous roles at agencies large and small, my professional journey has revolved around developing and implementing brand experiences.
